ABOUT DEWEY ELECTRONICS CORPORATION

The Dewey Electronics Corporation is a publicly held company based in Oakland, New Jersey, Bergen County, on the edge of the New York/New Jersey Metropolitan Area. Its common stock is traded Over-The-Counter (Symbol, DEWY.OB).

The company was founded in 1955 as a systems oriented research and development organization that designed and built electronic and electromechanical equipment for use by the U.S. Navy and Air Force.

Throughout the years, the Company has made acquisitions to grow and diversify. In 1962 the Company acquired the Pitometer Log Corporation, a company which designed and built measurement equipment used on board naval vessels. In 1969, Dewey acquired the Avion Electronics Corporation which was engaged in the design and manufacture of radar and microwave systems. The Company also purchased the HEDCO Corporation in 1972, an organization which had developed a patented process for producing snow for use at ski areas.

The company's current mix of business reflects its history as a research and development organization, as well as its more recent "build-to-print" strategy. The Company has been involved in ASW (Anti-Submarine Warfare) contracts for the Naval Sea Systems Command, and more recently with the U.S. Army through a contract to supply Military Diesel Operated Tactical generator sets.

Today the Corporation operates in a number of diversified product areas providing a wide range of military systems products to various agencies of the Department of Defense. The majority of Government effort has been in providing systems development and contract manufacturing of electronics and mechanical products and systems both as a prime contractor and subcontractor to the military services and agencies of the Department of Defense.

Through its HEDCO Division, Dewey continues to manufacture a full line of snowmaking machines. HEDCO Snow machines are operating in Japan, Switzerland, Austria, France and Korea, as well as in the U.S. and Canada.
